Salon Etiquette

Blue Mountains spa and beauty are committed to creating a personalised experience using the best sustainable and organic practices available. We request that all clients consider the below points in our Salon Etiquette guide. Following these helpful tips will enable our therapists to provide the best service possible for each and every client.

Switching Your Phone On Silent

Please switch your phone off or turn on to silent mode when you arrive for your relaxation treatment so you can relax and enjoy your experience with no interruptions or distractions.

Booking Ahead

If you are planning to book a weekend appointment we recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

Clothing & Attire

You will not require any special clothing during your visit, just wear something comfortable. If you are having a body treatment we will provide you with disposable underwear.

For massage bookings please leave your own underwear on.
During all treatments you will be draped with towels and not fully exposed at any time. Treatments are conducted free of jewellery so please leave any valuables at home.

For best results we recommend that men be clean shaven (no stubble) prior to any facial treatment. Surcharges may apply for extra product needed if not cleanly shaven.

Special Health Considerations and Your Privacy

You will be asked to complete a confidential consultation form prior to your treatment. This form helps us to determine the best possible treatment for your individual needs. Some pre-existing conditions may prevent you from having a specific treatment or we may have to adjust your treatment to ensure your well-being. Please answer this form honestly and accurately.

In order to protect all our staff and other guests, if you have cold or flu symptoms you may be refused treatment. If you are contagious please be considerate of others and stay at home.

Guests with high blood pressure, diabetes, heart conditions, varicose veins, are pregnant or with any other health conditions are advised to consult their doctor prior to seeking spa services. At time of booking, please inform us of your medical conditions including pregnancy, as some services may not be suitable.
